The Bill Boettger Volunteer of the Year Award allows each OLBA Club to recognize its most outstanding volunteer.

Every club across the province has volunteers that go above and beyond the call of duty. Most clubs or organizations can’t function without these tremendous individuals. If your club has someone within it, who you feel is deserving of the highest recognition that our sport has to offer, please complete and submit the Nomination Form below.

The recipient of this award will be announced at the Annual General Meeting and will receive a certificate and a monetary prize.

The deadline to nominate for this award is April 19, 2026.

Selection Criteria:

• The nominee must be a volunteer, not a paid administrator or a current Board Member of OLBA
• The accomplishment or contribution must be above and beyond the expectations of their position
• The nominee must have made an identifiable and significant contribution to a specific Lawn Bowls project or program
• The accomplishment may be the culmination or projects or programs over an extended period of time
• The nominee may be an outstanding volunteer at club level, etc.
• Assessment of the nominee will be made only on the information supplied with this Nomination form.
