About the Game

What is Lawn Bowling?

Lawn bowling is a strategic and social sport where players roll biased balls to get closest to a smaller target ball called the jack. It’s played on a flat green and combines precision, tactics, and teamwork.

Objective: Players aim to roll their bowls (balls) as close as possible to the jack, a small white ball.

Bowls: These are weighted to curve as they roll, adding a layer of strategy to each shot.

Playing Surface: Typically a manicured grass or synthetic green, divided into lanes called rinks.
